I bought a few small lavendars and Mexican heathers and replanted them. One of the four heathers is growing much faster than the others and both lavenders are doing ok, not dead, no brown leaves so that's good. My azaleas are doing good, but no blooms yet this year. They may not bloom at all. The gardenias are doing well, have buds and are ready to bloom but still no blooms! Hope they bloom before the damned aphids get them. I need some ladybugs to eat those suckers up.

Hey about the meat (you posted on my blog earlier) try the Maverick brand meat only. They are excellent. The buffalo hot dogs are a slightly stronger taste than what you're used to but they are good!! And they are also better for you. I've heard buffalo "beef" is bloodier, but the Maverick beef is from cattle. I heard about his ranch from two different sources, one of the guys I work with knows the owner--met him at a conference and then I read about him afterwards in Fast Food Nation. The guy who owns the ranch has great values and principles regarding the raising of animals for food. He doesn't use pesticides and lets his pasture land go untouched--he doesn't even kill the snakes. He leaves the environment to nature. I really like his work ethic and his values, so I don't mind paying for it!

Let me know if you try it. The ribeyes are great too.
