In the 1960's Mom and Dad were friends with this guy, Larry Griffis who was a sculptor. He did the sculptor of David in downtown Buffalo and one on Bidwell Parkway among many others. Anyway, he did this sculptor park in the hills on the way to Ellicotville, NY. There you are driving through the countryside and boom, there are these huge sculptors sprinkled throughout the countryside. It was really amazing to see.
